Your Consultation

Your first appointment will last approximately 45 minutes. After a full assessment has been made you will be advised of all treatment options.
Lifestyle advice will be given where necessary.
Please make available a list of ongoing regular medication you are taking and bring along a urine sample.
Treatment
Almost all sexual problems are treatable. Thus only one appointment is all that is needed for the majority of people. Drugs may be purchased on the day.
If psychosexual therapy is recommended the usual course consists of six to eight sessions, for more complex cases further appointments may be necessary.
Why Me?
Sexual difficulties stem from many causes and often there are several factors contributing to the problem.
Physical illness, anxiety and relationship breakdown can all be contributing factors.
A number of drugs prescribed for common medical conditions can also be a contributory factor. However, it is important to assess these drugs individually and not to simply stop them without medical advice.
Age is unimportant in deciding whether or not to seek help, it is what you feel that is important.
We have experience in working with individuals who are currently alone but are concerned about sexual problems affecting a future relationship.
Erectile dysfunction (Impotence)
Erectile dysfunction is a common problem which occurs more frequently with advancing age, affecting around one in six men at the age of fifty.
If you and your partner wish to enjoy a loving, sexual relationship, you do not have to accept erectile dysfunction as inevitable.
Whatever the cause of it, effective treatment for ED can be provided.
90% of men will respond to simple treatment prescribed at the clinic.
Female Sexual Dysfunction
Female Sexual Dysfunction a common problem, ignored for far too long. It affects one in three pre-menopausal women and one in two after the menopause. Again, effective treatments are now available.
