He is a GP with a special interest GYPSI from Doncaster.  He has run a sexual Dysfunction Clinic based at his practice premises for 20 years, he has a contract with Doncaster PCT to provide a specialist service and also sees patients from a more widespread area.

He is involved in clinical research, has sat on several panels of experts drawing up guidelines, sat on medical advisory panels to several pharmaceutical companies, writes in medical and lay press and frequently lectures on his favorite topic ‘to keep spreading the gospel’ .

Since 2004 he has been joined by a qualified Psychosexual Therapist to broaden the range of treatments to include psychosexual therapy and female sexual dysfunction.

He sits on the committee of the British Society of Sexual Medicine and on the Primary Care sub committee of the European society of Sexual Medicine.
